ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Housing association

A housing association is like a group of people who work together to manage and look after a big building with lots of homes in it. It's kind of like how your family takes care of your house, but on a bigger scale.

The people who live in the homes pay money to the housing association every month, and the association uses that money to take care of things like fixing broken things, cleaning the building, and making sure everything works properly.

The housing association also makes rules to help everyone live together happily and safely. For example, they might say that you can't play loud music after a certain time or you can't paint your house a bright color.

So, basically, a housing association is like a big family that looks after a bunch of homes and helps everyone live together happily and safely.
