Hub dynamo

A hub dynamo is a special kind of bike wheel that makes electricity when you ride your bike. This little generator is located inside the hub of your front wheel where it is protected from the rain and dirt.

Just like when you spin a toy top or yo-yo, there is a little bit of energy created. When you spin the bike wheel with the dynamo, tiny magnets inside the hub create a small amount of electricity. This energy is stored in a battery, which you can then use to power things like lights or even charge your phone or GPS.

The best part is that you don't need to worry about the battery running out of energy or needing to replace it. As long as you are riding your bike, the hub dynamo will continue to create electricity. So not only are you getting exercise, but you are also helping to power your bike in a more sustainable way.
