Human error assessment and reduction technique

Human error assessment and reduction technique is a way of trying to reduce the number of mistakes people make when they are doing something like a job. It looks at how people do their job and what mistakes they might make, then it finds ways to reduce those mistakes. For example, if someone is going to drive a car, he or she should know how to drive safely and what the traffic laws are. A human error assessment and reduction technique might look at this and find ways of making sure the driver follows all the rules and can do the job without making mistakes.
