Human zoo

A human zoo was a form of entertainment that was popular in the 1800s and early 1900s. People from different cultures and countries were put on display in large cages so that people could come and look at them. People in the human zoos were often taken from their native lands, separated from families and friends, and forced to perform hurtful and strange acts for the amusement of onlookers. It was a very painful and degrading experience for the people of the human zoos. People in human zoos were treated like animals and were not respected or treated as human beings. Human zoos are now seen as an extremely offensive and cruel form of entertainment that should no longer exist.
