Humeanism is a theory in philosophy that argues that our ideas come from our experiences. It's named after the philosopher David Hume. Hume said that if the brain is like a blank slate, then our experiences are like a pen that writes on it. Everything we know and experience is written on this blank slate. So, when we think and make decisions, our ideas come from our past experiences. We learn, grow, and form opinions based on what we've experienced before.
