Hyde Park and Regent's Park bombings
Okay kiddo, so there were two big parks in London called Hyde Park and Regent's Park. One day a long time ago, some people who were very angry and wanted to hurt other people put bombs in these parks. The bombs were meant to explode and hurt or even kill people who were just enjoying the park.
Sadly, the bombs did go off and some people were hurt and some died. This made a lot of other people very scared and sad. The police and other people worked very hard to find out who did this and make sure they were punished.
It's never okay to hurt other people, especially when they're just trying to have a good time. It's important for us to be kind and respectful to everyone and enjoy our parks and other public spaces safely.
