Hydrocephalus

Hydrocephalus is a condition where there is too much water-like fluid in the brain. This can happen if there is a problem with the way the fluid is made, or if it doesn't drain out of the brain properly. When there is too much fluid in the brain, it can cause the brain to swell up and press against the skull. This can make it hard for the brain to work properly and can cause problems with things like thinking, moving, and seeing. People with hydrocephalus may need to have surgery to help drain the extra fluid from their brain, and they may have to use special tools or equipment to help them live and move around more easily.
