Hypervisor

A hypervisor is like a special program for computers. It helps make sure that multiple programs can run on a computer at the same time without getting in each other's way. A hypervisor is also called a virtual machine monitor because it makes a computer think it is running multiple virtual machines (computers) at the same time, even when it is actually just one physical computer.
