ICEX: US Navy Mission in Arctic

Hey kiddo! Do you know about the Arctic, the place where it's really cold and full of ice? Well, the US Navy is going there on a mission called icex.

The Navy wants to learn more about this place to help keep people safe and to be prepared for any problems that might come up. They use special ships that can break through the ice so they can get to places that are hard to reach.

They also want to help make sure that other countries are following the rules about using the Arctic. It's like when we play a game and everyone has to follow the rules so that everyone can have fun safely.

So, the US Navy is going to the Arctic to learn, help, and stay safe. It's a big job, but they're up for the challenge!
