Idiopathic pure sudomotor failure

Okay kiddo, so some grown-ups have something called idiopathic pure sudomotor failure.

Sudomotor means it's about sweating. You know how when you get really hot and your body sweats to cool down? Well, some grown-ups can't do that anymore.

Idiopathic means that doctors don't know exactly why it happens.

Pure means that it only affects the sweating part of the body.

So, these grown-ups have a problem where they can't sweat when they need to. It is important to sweat because it helps keep your body at the right temperature.

Doctors might help them feel better by giving them medicine or teaching them how to cool down in other ways, like taking cool baths or drinking cold water.
