Illyrian mythology

Illyrian mythology is like a big storybook that people from a long time ago used to tell each other. They believed in gods and goddesses who had special powers and could help or harm people.

One of the most important gods in Illyrian mythology was Perendi, who was the god of fertility and the fields. People believed that if they made offerings to Perendi, they would have good crops and their animals would have babies.

Another important god was Tomor, who was the god of mountains. People believed that Tomor lived at the very top of the highest mountain and that he controlled thunder and lightning. They thought that if they climbed to the top of the mountain and made offerings to Tomor, he would protect them from bad things like storms and wild animals.

Illyrian mythology also has a goddess called Asa that represented the protective mother. Asa was believed to have powers over childbirth and fertility. People believed that if they prayed to Asa, she would protect them and their babies during pregnancy and childbirth.

Overall, Illyrian mythology was a way for people to explain the world around them and to ask for help from powerful forces that they believed were there to protect them.
