ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Impartiality

Impartiality means being fair and not choosing one side over the other. Imagine you have two friends who are fighting over a toy. To be impartial, you need to make sure both of your friends get to play with the toy for the same amount of time. You can't give it all to one friend and ignore the other. Impartiality means treating everyone equally, without any favoritism. It's like being a referee in a game, making sure that both teams follow the rules and have the same chance to win. In life, being impartial means being open-minded, not judging people based on their race, gender, or religion. It also means considering all the facts before making a decision, and not letting your personal feelings or biases get in the way.
