Impulse control disorder

Impulse control disorder is a type of mental health problem that makes it hard for a person to control their behavior. It makes it hard for them to decide if an action is a good or bad idea. People with this disorder often end up doing things that are bad for them or that embarrass them even though they know it's wrong. Examples of impulse control disorders include compulsive gambling, compulsive shopping, and impulsive behavior. People with impulse control problems can’t stop themselves from acting impulsively, even when they know it’s not a good idea or when their behavior might hurt someone else or themselves.
