Inborn error of metabolism

Inborn errors of metabolism are diseases that a person is born with that affect how the body processes some parts of the food they eat. It can prevent a person from gaining energy from the food they eat, and can stop their body from creating important chemicals it needs. It could even harm their organs making them work less effectively. It's only seen in some people, and it's caused by a mistake in a person's genes. The mistake can go back to previous generations, too.
