Imagine you are playing with your toys and suddenly something goes wrong, like a toy breaks or somebody gets hurt. When this happens, you need to tell an adult, like your mom or dad, what happened so they can help you fix the problem.
In the same way, sometimes things go wrong in big places like schools or shopping malls. When something bad happens, a group of grown-ups called the incident management team comes together to figure out what happened and how to fix it, just like your mom and dad help you fix your broken toy.
The incident management team is made up of people who are good at different things, like firefighters, police officers, doctors, and people who handle communication. They all work together to make sure everyone is safe and to fix the problem.
For example, if there's a fire in a building, the incident management team will have firefighters put out the fire and help people get out safely. They will also make sure there are enough doctors and ambulances to take care of anyone who gets hurt. They will talk to the public to let them know what's going on and how to stay safe.
So, just like when something goes wrong with your toys and you tell a grown-up to help you fix it, the incident management team is like a big group of grown-ups who work together to help fix problems and keep everyone safe.
