Indigenous peoples in Brazil

Indigenous peoples in Brazil are people who lived in Brazil before Europeans arrived in the 1500s. They are part of many different tribes and have their own cultures and identities. Their lives and traditions have been affected by Brazil's history and politics. They have rights to their land, language, and traditional ways of life. Over the years, some of their lands have been taken away from them and they have been forced to relocate. The government of Brazil works to protect the rights of indigenous peoples by working with them to try to keep their lands safe and making sure they have access to health care, education, and other benefits.
