An individualistic culture is a type of culture where people have a strong focus on taking care of their own needs and wants. In other words, the focus is more on the individual and not the group. In an individualistic culture, people are often more independent and self-reliant than in other types of cultures. People in individualistic cultures are also often more competitive and have a greater emphasis on individual achievement.
