Induction forging

Induction forging is a really cool way to make metal stuff get really hot so you can shape it into different things!

It works like this: you take a piece of metal, and you put it inside a special machine that makes a strong magnetic field. This magnetic field makes electricity flow through the metal really, really fast! And when electricity flows through metal, it heats up.

So when the metal gets super hot, you can take it out of the machine and shape it into anything you want! Maybe you want to make a sword, or a horseshoe, or a metal part for a car. Whatever you want, you can use induction forging to get the metal just the right temperature for shaping.

It's kind of like playing with Play-Doh- when it's cold, it's hard and you can't shape it very well. But when you warm it up in your hands, it gets soft and easy to mold into whatever shape you want. Induction forging is like warming up the metal so it's easier to shape!
