Induction shrink fitting is when we want to put something on top of something else but we don't want it to fall off. So, we use a special machine called an induction heater that makes the area we want to put the thing on hot. This makes it expand, or get bigger. Then we quickly put the thing we want to put on top of it. As everything cools down, the bottom thing gets smaller again, making it tight around the top thing. It's like when we put a sock on our foot when it's wet, it's tight, but when it dries, it fits perfectly. This technique is used to make sure things stay put where they are meant to be, even when they are under a lot of pressure or movement.
