Industrial control system

An industrial control system (ICS) is a computer system that helps to do tasks more quickly and efficiently in an industrial environment. For example, it can control things like factory machines and make sure that they are running at the right speed or process data in a timely manner. It can also monitor the environment around the machines so that the system knows when something needs maintenance or repair. The ICS helps to make the workflow smoother and less time consuming.
