Information Visualization

Information visualization is when you use pictures and graphs to tell a story with data. When we talk about data, it usually means information like numbers and facts. But it can be hard to understand what numbers and facts mean unless they're presented in a way that's easy to understand. By putting data into a chart, graph, or map, it becomes much easier to understand what the numbers mean. Information visualization can also help to spot trends and patterns in data more quickly than just looking at the numbers.
