ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Analytics

Analytics is when someone looks at data (often on a computer) to figure out what happened in the past, what is happening right now, and what might happen in the future. It can answer questions like, "How many people used my app last month?" or "Which products are popular right now?" or "Should I raise my prices?". To do this, an analyst might look at numbers, charts, and graphs to make decisions.
