ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Data management

Data management is a way of organizing and taking care of data. Data is any pieces of information that can be collected, stored, and used. One way of managing data is to store it in a database, which is like a big filing cabinet with lots of folders. Each folder is like a table in the database, and those tables are filled with different information. For example, there might be a table with a list of people and their ages, or a table with a list of products and their prices. Data management also involves making sure the data is accurate and up-to-date. There are also different ways of collecting and sorting the data that can make it easier to work with. All of these things are part of data management.
