Information art

Information art is artwork created by taking a lot of information from different sources – such as facts and statistics or images – and turning it into a visual display that lets us understand the information. For example, an artist might take a lot of census data about how many people live in a particular country and turn it into a colorful chart that is easy to understand and looks cool. By doing this, the artist can help people to understand the concept of population size more clearly and quickly.
