Information cascade

Information cascade is like a game of telephone. Imagine you are playing the game with your friends, and the first person tells the second person a secret. The second person passes it on, and then they all start guessing what the secret might be. Each person is only guessing based on what the person before them said, without knowing the original secret. This repeating pattern of guessing is called an information cascade.
