ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Groupthink

Groupthink is when a group of people all agree with one another, even if they should disagree. It can happen in workplaces, in families, and even among friends. When groupthink happens, one person's opinion is often seen as better than everyone else's and the group stops listening to one another and loses their ability to think clearly and make good decisions. Groupthink can be a problem because it stops the group from seeing things from different perspectives and can lead to hasty or bad decisions.
