ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Inland port

An inland port is like a train station or a bus station, but instead of people getting off and on, it's for big trucks and containers that carry things like clothes, toys, and food. It's usually located far away from the ocean, in the middle of a big country, so the trucks can easily pick up and drop off their cargo there.

The inland port has special facilities where the containers can be loaded and unloaded from the trucks, and put onto trains or ships, so they can travel all around the world. Think of it as a really big playground for trucks, except they're not playing, they're working very hard!

Inland ports are important because they help move goods quickly and efficiently through a country, without having to rely on congested ports on the coasts. This can save time and money for businesses, and make life easier for people who buy and use the things being transported. It's kind of like having a secret shortcut to get to where you want to go, but only for big trucks!
