Insult comedy

Insult comedy is when a person says mean things to someone else as a way to make people laugh. It's like when you and your friends tease each other, but it's on purpose and a grown-up is doing it on stage for a show.

When a comedian makes an insult joke, they are trying to make the audience laugh at the person they are insulting. The insults can be about anything: how someone looks, how they act, or even their name.

Sometimes, the person being insulted might not like what the comedian says. But, the audience is supposed to laugh because they know it's just a joke and the comedian doesn't really mean it.

It's important to remember that even though insult comedy can be funny, it's not nice to actually be mean to people in real life. So, it's okay to laugh at the joke, but don't go and say mean things to your friends.
