Intercity bus

An intercity bus is a big, long vehicle that helps people travel from one city to another. It's like a big car that can fit lots of people and their suitcases.

Imagine you want to visit your grandma, who lives in a city two hours away from yours. You can't drive there because you don't know how to drive, so your mom and dad put you on an intercity bus.

The intercity bus has seats like a regular bus, but they're usually more comfortable, with more room for your legs and for you to move around. It also has windows that you can look out of to see the passing scenery.

The driver of the bus knows how to get to the city you're going to, and they usually drive on big highways to get there. The bus might stop at some other cities on the way, so people can get on or off.

Sometimes, the bus has a bathroom, so you can go if you need to. And if you get hungry or thirsty, you can bring snacks or drinks with you or buy them from the driver or the bus station.

When you get to your destination, the intercity bus will stop at a station, where your grandma or someone else will pick you up. Then, you can have fun visiting your grandma, knowing that you got there safely on the intercity bus.
