Internal migration

Internal migration is when people move from one place to another within the same country. For example, if a person moves from the city of Montreal in Canada to Toronto, this would be an example of internal migration. Sometimes people move for different reasons like to look for better job opportunities, to be close to family and friends, or because they love a new place.
