The Internet of Things (or "IoT" for short) is a way of connecting all of our physical objects—like household appliances, cars, or even entire cities—to the internet so they can communicate with each other. By connecting these objects to the internet, we can control and track them remotely, and they can even make decisions all by themselves. For example, if you have a thermostat in your house connected to the internet, it can automatically adjust the temperature in your home depending on the weather outside. That way, you don’t have to bother adjusting it manually.
