Interoperability

Interoperability is when different systems or devices that are used to do a certain job can talk to each other and make it easier to do that job. For example, imagine that you have two different computers in your house and you want to send a picture from one computer to the other. With interoperability, the two computers can talk to each other and the picture can be sent quickly and easily. It's like the computers are helping each other out.
