Inuit diet is the traditional diet of the Inuit people, an Indigenous group of North America. The diet includes a lot of seafood like fish, whales, seals, and walrus and also includes animal meat like caribou and birds. Fruits and vegetables are not a big part of the diet. Instead, they eat a lot of fats from the animals they hunt and from plants like seaweed. Eating a lot of seafood and animal fats helps keep the Inuit people healthy and strong during the cold winters.
