Ironwork

Ironwork is when people make things out of iron. Iron is a metal that's very strong and can easily be shaped into different shapes when it's heated up. Ironworkers use tools to cut, shape and bend these iron pieces to create different things. Some ironwork is used in buildings to make structures stronger, like railings on stairs or balconies. Other times, it can be used to make things like gates, fences or even sculptures. Ironwork can be seen in many places and can add a lot of beauty and character to a building or community. It's important work and takes a lot of skill and practice to do it well.
