Blacksmith

A blacksmith is someone who makes things out of iron or metal. They use a big heavy hammer and a glowing hot fire to shape the metal into different things like horseshoes, swords, nails, and tools. They have a special place called a forge where they heat up the metal until it's really hot and can be hammered into shape. The blacksmith has to be really strong and patient because it takes a lot of hard work to make things this way. They also need to be careful not to burn themselves or their surroundings with the fire. Blacksmiths have been around for a very long time and were very important in making things for people in the past.
