Isolationism

Isolationism is when a country decides not to get involved with other countries. This may mean that the country does not join international organizations, does not trade with other countries, does not take part in international wars, and does not allow people from other countries to visit. Isolationism is usually seen as a way for a country to stay safe and protect itself from harm.
