ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Isopsephy

Isopsephy is a way of counting in Greek. It is like adding up numbers in math. In isopsephy, each letter of the Greek alphabet has a different number value. For example, the letter 'A' is 1, the letter 'B' is 2, the letter 'C' is 3 and so on. To use isopsephy, you add up the numbers that correspond with each letter in a word or phrase. It's a bit like using math to count.
