ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Israeli law

Israeli law is a set of rules that people in Israel have to follow. Just like how there are rules at school or at home, there are rules that the government has made to help keep people safe and happy. Some of these rules are made by the Israeli Parliament, which is like a big group of important people who talk and vote on what the rules should be.

Israeli law also has courts, which are like big rooms where judges listen to people talk and decide if they did something wrong. If someone breaks one of the rules, or laws, they might have to go to court and explain what happened.

There are different types of Israeli laws for different things, like traffic laws for driving or criminal laws for doing bad things. But no matter what the law is, it's important to follow it so everyone can be safe and happy.
