ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Iwakura rock

Ok kiddo, so there’s this big rock in Japan called the Iwakura rock. It’s really special because a long time ago, some very important people like the emperor and other government leaders would go visit it to do something called “iwakura” which means “rock viewing”.

When they went to see the Iwakura rock, they would sit on a platform nearby and look at the rock while talking about important things like how to make the country better.

It was kind of like a meeting place, but a really beautiful one because the rock was all big and cool-looking. The Iwakura rock is still there today and people can go see it and imagine what it was like to have meetings and talk about important things while looking at such a beautiful rock. Cool, huh?
