Jainism and non-creationism

Jainism is an ancient religion, originating in India, that emphasizes non-harm to all living things and respect for all life. Non-creationism is one of its main beliefs, which means that Jains do not believe that a god or gods created the world or are responsible for the way it works. Instead, Jains believe that the universe has always existed and that there is no single human or divine force controlling our lives. Jains seek to live in harmony with nature and avoid violence and harm.
