People who follow Jainism believe that everything in the world has a soul, even tiny ants and plants. They don't want to hurt them and try to be kind to them always. They also believe in being truthful and not stealing from others.

In Tamil Nadu, there are many Jain temples or places where people go to pray and worship. These temples are very beautiful and have statues and pictures of important people in Jainism.

Jainism teaches people to respect all life and be kind to each other. It is a very peaceful religion that has been around for a very long time. And in Tamil Nadu, it is still very popular among many people.
