Japanese Instrument of Surrender

The Japanese Instrument of Surrender was a document that officially ended World War II between Japan and the Allied Powers in 1945. This document declared that Japan had to stop fighting and agree to the terms of the Allies, which included giving up all of their weapons and giving away the lands they had taken from other countries. Signing the Japanese Instrument of Surrender ended the war and allowed a new era of peace to begin.
