Jeremiah

Jeremiah was a man who lived a very long time ago, in a time when there were no phones or computers or even cars. He lived in a place called Jerusalem, which was a city with lots of people and lots of buildings.

Jeremiah was a special person because he loved God very much, and he wanted everyone in Jerusalem to love God too. He would often talk to the people of Jerusalem and tell them about God's love and how they should be good to each other.

But not everyone liked what Jeremiah had to say. Some people didn't want to listen to him at all, and they would make fun of him and say mean things about him.

Despite all of this, Jeremiah never stopped telling people about God's love. He even wrote down everything he said in a book, which is now part of the Bible.

So even though Jeremiah lived a long time ago and things were very different back then, his message about God's love and doing what is right is still important today.
