Jiva

Jiva is a Sanskrit word that means "soul" or "life force". It is often used in Hindu philosophy to describe the eternal spirit or essence of a living being. In this context, jiva refers to a part of us that will always exist, no matter what happens to our physical bodies. The concept of jiva sometimes goes hand in hand with the law of karma, which states that what we do in this life will affect our future lives.
