John Steinbeck

John Steinbeck was a man who wrote lots of really good books a long time ago. He liked to write stories about people and their lives, and he was really good at making those stories interesting and fun to read. He also won a really big prize called the Nobel Prize for his writing, which meant he was really, really good at what he did. Even though he isn't around anymore, lots of people still read his books and enjoy them today!
