John the Apostle

John the Apostle was one of Jesus Christ's best friends, who followed Him around and learned from Him. John was very important to Jesus and was one of twelve men called "apostles." An apostle is someone who is sent out to share a message, and in John's case, the message was about Jesus.

John was a good listener when Jesus spoke, which is why he wrote many stories in the Bible about Jesus and His teachings. Some of the most famous stories from John's time with Jesus include the miracle of turning water into wine, and the feeding of the 5,000.

After Jesus was crucified and rose from the dead, John continued to spread His message of love and forgiveness. He wrote many letters and traveled around the world to share his experiences with others. John was a very loving and patient man, which made him very popular among his followers.

John's life was not always easy, though. He was imprisoned more than once for his beliefs, but he never gave up. Even while he was in jail, he continued to spread his message about Jesus to anyone who would listen.

In the end, John died a very old man, surrounded by people who respected him and loved him for everything he had done for them. His legacy lives on through the Bible, where his stories continue to inspire people of all ages to this day.
