ELI5: Explain Like I'm 5

Jurist

Okay kiddo, a jurist is someone who knows a lot about laws and legal stuff. They've studied a lot and are really good at understanding the rules and regulations that the government has set up for people to follow. Their job is to help other people like judges, lawyers, and lawmakers understand what the laws mean and how they should be applied in specific situations. So, a jurist is kind of like a legal wizard who can help make sense of all the complex rules and regulations that can sometimes seem confusing to the rest of us.
