Jury Nullification is when a jury decides not to follow the law. They might do this if they think the law is wrong, or if they think the person accused is not guilty, even though they might have broken the law. In the United States, this means that if the jury (a group of people chosen to listen to the facts in a trial and then decide if the person accused is guilty or innocent) decides that the person accused is not guilty, then the person will be set free, even if they did something against the law.
