Jutes are a group of people who lived a long time ago in a place called Jutland, which is in modern-day Denmark. They were known for being really good at making things out of a plant called jute, which grows in wetlands. Jute is a tough, fibrous plant that is used to make things like ropes, mats, and burlap sacks. The Jutes would harvest the jute plant, soak it in water for a long time, and then weave it together into different things. They were so good at it that people started calling the plant jute after them. The Jutes were also known for being fierce warriors, and they were part of a larger group of people called the Anglo-Saxons. Today, we still use jute for many things, like packaging and gardening, and we remember the Jutes as skilled craftsmen and powerful fighters.
