Kepler problem

Okay kiddo, so you know how the planets in our solar system go around the sun? That's because of something called gravity. Gravity is like a big magnet that pulls things towards it.

A long, long time ago, a really smart guy named Johannes Kepler wanted to figure out how planets move around the sun. He noticed that the planets moved in funny ways - sometimes they went faster, sometimes slower, and sometimes they even went backwards!

But Kepler was really good at math, so he worked out something called the "kepler problem." This is like a really tricky puzzle that helps us understand how the planets move.

The kepler problem is all about figuring out exactly where a planet will be at any given time. It's kind of like playing a game of catch with a really good pitcher. You have to predict where the ball will be before you can catch it.

To solve the kepler problem, Kepler used something called his "laws." These laws tell us how planets move around the sun. One of his laws says that planets move in elliptical, or oval, orbits. Another law says that the closer a planet is to the sun, the faster it moves.

Using these laws, Kepler figured out exactly how the planets in our solar system move. And now, thanks to Kepler, we know a lot about the stars and planets all around us!
